Due to the overwhelming response from the scientific community, the deadline for abstract submission is being extended one week. The deadline for both abstract submission and travel grant requests is now February 14, Noon CST USA.

More than 2,000 stem cell scientists from 40 countries are expected to attend the preeminent international forum for the presentation of stem cell research. Meeting highlights include:
Professor Sir John B. Gurdon, DPhil, DSc, FRS, will deliver the Keynote Address.
- Special Junior Investigator events including two Meet the Experts Breakfasts, poster awards and a panel discussion during an evening social hour.
- More than 100 stem cell leaders will share their knowledge in seven plenary and 16 concurrent session tracks.
- An anticipated 1,500 posters divided into two groups - two full days to explore each set of posters.
- More than 100 exhibitors offering the newest technologies and services.
Submit an Abstract
Abstracts must be submitted electronically. The ISSCR Program Committee will review all submissions and select abstracts for either oral or poster sessions. ISSCR expects that all selected abstracts will be presented by the authors and that submitted abstracts will not be withdrawn.
To submit an abstract:
- Read the complete Call for Abstracts, including submission categories and requirements.
- Go to the submission site. ISSCR members have been notified of their abstract account information. Nonmembers: you will need to create a new user account to submit your abstract, even if you have submitted abstracts for previous ISSCR annual meetings. Abstract review notifications will be sent via e-mail in late March.
Apply for a Travel Grant
ISSCR members are eligible to apply for travel assistance. Applicants are required to submit and abstract and indicate their intention to apply for a travel grant as part of the abstract submission process. A justification of economic need (of fewer than 200 words) will be required.
ISSCR Poster Awards (PDF)
Junior investigators are eligible to submit poster abstracts for consideration for the ISSCR Junior Investigator Poster Awards. The awards include a cash stipend of $250 and complimentary registration for the 7th ISSCR Annual Meeting.
